Mike has held a life-long passion for aerospace since starting flying lessons at the age of 12 and becoming a commercial pilot when he was 19. At the University of Michigan, Mike studied Aerospace Engineering and entered the world of consulting with an internship at AeroStrategy, followed by an introduction to engine overhauls and maintenance programs during an engineering internship at United Airlines’ San Francisco maintenance facility. He then began his full-time career at ICF International’s aerospace practice before transitioning to AeroDynamic in 2017. Mike has led or contributed to over 100 consulting engagements focused on business strategy, market analysis, & transaction advisory for clients across the aerospace industry, and also oversees AeroDynamic’s aftermarket-related intellectual property. He is a frequent guest speaker at industry conferences, universities, and company events, and also serves on the board of the Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan (AIAM). Mike currently resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan with his husband.
